A class for adults where you’ll learn Spanish naturally through an innovative, interactive and collaborative storytelling process from the comfort of your own home. Listen, Read, and Interact with the language and see for yourself why I believe this is the best way to learn Spanish — the same methods that I use with my college students.

WHO THIS CLASS IS FOR
This class is designed for adult beginners, particularly those who have previously attempted to learn Spanish without achieving the desired results.
HOW YOU’LL LEARN
The learning method is straightforward: you will be introduced to high-frequency vocabulary and immediately apply it in context. Through repeated listening, reading, and interacting with the language, you'll gradually internalize it. The most impactful part of this process, as consistently reported by students, is collaborative storytelling.
WHAT YOU’LL LEARN
You will focus on essential high-frequency vocabulary in the present tense, including key verbs like ser to be, estar to be, tener to have, querer to want, and ir to go. These verbs will be used within the natural context of a story. The first three weeks involve collaboratively crafting and telling this story in Spanish. In the final session, you will read two versions of the co-created story, using them as a springboard for meaningful Spanish interaction.
HOMEWORK
You will receive assignments after each class to continue your language development between sessions.
WHAT YOU’LL TAKE HOME
A PDF containing two versions of the co-created story, several tailored activities for natural language processing, and guided notes to accelerate your mastery of high-frequency vocabulary.
WHAT TO EXPECT AFTER SIGNING UP
Soon after registration, you will receive a Zoom link via email from your instructor, who will also welcome any specific topics you might want to focus on during the course.
